Ultraformer 3
Utilises high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) technology to tighten several layers of skin to achieve skin tightening of face, and neck lifting effect.
Venus Viva Diamond Polar
This uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields to produce uniform heat under the skin’s surface. This process helps to naturally increase collagen and elastin fibers, resulting in smoother, firmer skin that looks noticeably more youthful.

Who is suitable for skin tightening procedures?
Generally speaking, the greater the degree of laxity (looseness) the better the result it will produce. There is no age restriction to this treatment. We treat patients as young as in their 20s up to 80s.
Which treatment is more suitable for skin tightening for me?
When you have a consultation with our cosmetic team dermatologist or nurse practitioner, you will be assessed and offered the suitable treatment option. The decision will be made based on the sites treated, the degree of laxity and the desired outcome.
How much improvement can I expect with non-surgical neck and face lift?
With energy device-based treatments, the improvement will be visible within a few months of treatment. While it is never going to be as instant as a surgical face or neck lift, many patients have found these non-invasive treatments satisfactory.
How many sessions of Ultraformer do I need?
The effect of tightening is visible (and can be felt) pretty much straight after the procedure is done! We would generally offer 1 treatment, have a review at around 6 months (when the maximum effect is visible) and discuss an additional treatment at that point if desired. The second treatment is usually at a significantly lower cost.
Subsequently, many patients may choose to have repeat treatment on a once yearly or second yearly basis to maintain the desired tightening.
How many sessions of Venus Viva Diamond Polar treatments do I need?
This device utilises radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic field to heat up the deep tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling and synthesis. On the same day of treatment, there will be the instant effect and some patients choose to perform this treatment on the same day of an occasion to achieve the instant plumping effect.
We generally would offer a series of 4-5 treatments, spaced out at every fortnight basis to achieve a more lasting result.
Even though multiple treatment sessions, the total cost of this treatment after multiple sessions would still be significantly lower than the cost of Ultraformer.
Are the treatments painful?
Diamond Polar Treatment feels almost like a “hot stone massage” so we do not anticipate much pain.
Ultraformer gives a prickly sensation but is generally well tolerated, and we do not usually recommend or offer topical anaesthesia.
Are treatments suitable for Asians or darker skin type?
Both treatments can be applied to any type of skin colour, including darker Asian skin type.
Can I return to normal activities after treatment?
Yes. There is no need for any time off. Ultraformer may leave behind some red marks for the rest of the day but even with this, the changes are not significant.
